Engagement & Wedding Rings

Rachel entwistle

From the ancient Egyptians’ woven reeds to the Roman’s interlocking hands, the unbroken circle has been a symbol of love and commitment for millennia.

Rachel Entwistle® specialises in jewellery with meaning, and no jewellery has more meaning than an engagement ring or wedding band.

Rachel takes time getting to know you and understanding your journey before designing a bespoke engagement ring or wedding band that weaves together the threads of your shared narrative. This personal approach coupled with expertise in design and knowledge of gemstones and diamonds can guide you in creating your perfect engagement or wedding ring.
We make our ethical engagement rings and men’s and women’s wedding bands in London, where we have an in-house workshop and jeweller, and we work closely with craftspeople in Hatton Garden, London’s jewellery quarter. Our bespoke pieces can be made with either Certified Recycled metals or Fair-trade Gold.

STEP ONE: INITIAL CONSULTATION

We start with an initial email followed by a meeting with Rachel via Zoom or at our London store in Shoreditch.

Rachel will talk through your ideas and discuss initial options, whether you have a strong vision or need more initial guidance.

Initial design ideas, price range, process and timeline are confirmed at this stage.

(Please note engagement rings can take up to 10-12 weeks in total to design and make dependent on the complexity of the design and wedding bands 5-7 weeks).

STEP TWO: CHOOSING YOUR GEMSTONE

Based on the ideas from the initial meeting, Rachel will hand-select a shortlist of beautiful precious stones whether diamonds or coloured stones for your design.

You will then select the stone that speaks to you, making this an exciting and personal part of the process.

(If you are not having a stone in your ring you would skip to the next section :-)

STEP THREE: THE DESIGN AND MAKING PROCESS

Rachel will begin with sketching and then move on to designing and then making your piece. This stage lasts 6-8 weeks and you will have regular updates and be given the opportunity to make small design changes in the process.

STEP FOUR : YOUR FINAL BESPOKE  JEWELLERY PIECE

The most exciting stage of the process is collecting your completely unique bespoke piece of jewellery and knowing that you have been involved in the design and creation process at every step of the journey.

Each design is hallmarked with Rachel's registered mark to confirm its authenticity.
